Exercise Physiology Program
The EP Program is an appointment to develop a lower limb specific program tailored to build strength and improve stability. Each program will focus on identifying your weaknesses within the lower limb to then build you and make you stronger. This is not a personal training class, rather a specific appointment to test muscle strength, range of motion and mobility. This is a fundamental aspect for rehabilitation from injuries and injury prevention.
Range of Motion
Range of motion of all joints allowing us to ensure there are no restrictions or limitation on movement.
Movement
Functional weight-bearing exercises including lunges, squatting and balance.
Muscle Activation
Non- weight bearing exercises whereby we isolate individual muscles to assess activation and strength.
Gait Analysis
Analysis of the head, shoulder, hips, knees and ankles through the normal gait cycle.
